Data protection statement

How NEOMETAL TOV handles the personal and business data it receives in the course of trading in metals and metal products.

Data controller: NEOMETAL TOV (EDRPOU 42473948), 82, of. 256, vul. Kyrylivska, Kyiv, 04080, Ukraine.
Contact for data matters: office@neometal.site

1. Who we are

NEOMETAL TOV is a company registered in Ukraine that trades in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and metal products. We are the controller responsible for the personal data described in this statement. This statement explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and the rights available to you.

2. What data we process

We deal with businesses, and the data we hold is mostly commercial rather than personal. In the course of an enquiry, a contract or a delivery we may process:

  • Business contact data — the name, job role, company, e-mail address and telephone number of the people we correspond with at counterparties, suppliers and carriers.
  • Correspondence — the enquiries, quotes, specifications and messages exchanged with us, including any details you place in an e-mail or the contact form.
  • Contract & transaction records — order specifications, delivery terms, documents and records required to perform and account for a trade.
  • Technical data — where our website is accessed, our hosting provider may process standard server information (such as IP address and request logs) for security and reliability. This website does not run advertising or third-party tracking.

3. How we collect it

We receive data directly from you — when you e-mail us, complete the contact form or enter into a contract — and from the ordinary operation of a trade, such as documents provided by suppliers, carriers and counterparties.

The contact form on this site does not transmit data to us on its own: it opens your own e-mail client with the details filled in, and you choose whether to send the message. Nothing from the form is stored by this website.

4. Why we process it, and our legal basis

We process data to conduct our business as a metals trader. Depending on the situation, our legal basis is one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract — to prepare quotes, agree terms and deliver an order you or your company have requested.
  • Legitimate business interests — to respond to enquiries, manage supplier and customer relationships, keep records and secure our systems, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, customs and other record-keeping duties that apply to us.
  • Consent — where you have specifically agreed to a particular use; you may withdraw such consent at any time.

We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" and applicable data-protection requirements.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose data only as far as is needed to run a trade or meet a legal duty — for example to carriers and logistics providers to arrange delivery, to banks for settlement, to professional advisers, and to public authorities where the law requires. Anyone acting for us is expected to protect the data and use it only for the agreed purpose.

6. International transfers

Because we trade with counterparties and carriers in other countries, data needed to perform a cross-border order may be transferred outside Ukraine. Where that happens, we limit the transfer to what the transaction requires and take reasonable steps to keep the data protected.

7. Retention

We keep data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for as long as accounting, tax and other legal obligations require us to retain the related records. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk low.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and obtain a copy;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at office@neometal.site. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority in Ukraine.

10. Cookies

This website is a static corporate site. It does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not track visitors across sites. Any strictly necessary technical data is handled by our hosting provider for security and delivery of the pages.

11. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as our practices or the law change. The current version is always the one published on this page. For questions about how we handle data, write to office@neometal.site.
