What the app does

Neometal Yard is an offline work desk for the rolled-metal trade. It calculates the weight of metal stock from dimensions, lays out bar cutting plans, keeps a yard stock ledger and provides a reference of common metals and alloys.

Data you enter

Everything you type into the app — dimensions, cutting lists, ledger lots, notes and preferences such as language and theme — is stored locally on your device and stays there. You can remove it at any time by deleting the records inside the app or by clearing the application storage in the system settings.

Platform services

The application is distributed through Google Play and runs on top of Google Play Services, the standard system layer provided by the device platform. Google Play Services operates under its own terms presented by the platform vendor.

Fonts and resources

The interface uses typefaces from the Google Fonts catalogue. These font files and all graphic resources ship inside the application package, and the app renders its interface from these bundled files.

Links that open outside the app

The About and Contact screens contain links to the NEOMETAL TOV website and an email action. These open in your browser or mail application, and those applications handle the visit under their own policies.
